  • The background city is probably New York which has the a stylish lifestyle, it says "new york" which is Anchoraging which weighs down the meaning
  • The Logo and the product are at in the front layer, which shows that they're the main focus of the advert.
  • The background is grey/ blue ish and the model is the only 'colourful' thing
  • We've a contrast between the women in the background and the women in the foreground. The women in the background isn't as important whilst the women in the foreground is more important.
  • High-key lighting shone on the model's face, it makes her facial structures more defined. It makes her stand out because she's wearing the mascara.

  • Model's sightly open mouth and lipgloss is a Proairetic code that make she will kiss someone.
  • A well- known slogan, "maybe she's born with it, maybe it's maybelline

-Rule of thirds: When things are divided in three sections
-Headings and Subheadings: A title and a smaller subtitle
-Sans-Serif Font: A font , serif font has flicky bits in it but sans doesn't. Sans is blocky whilst serif doesn't.

-Mode of Address: Ways the media products speaks to its audience.
- Rule of three: Image looks better if there are three colours.

  • The rule of three so there is three main colours used: Blue, White, Red
  • There are lots of subheadings used and a heading.
  • Z-line is used as there are lots of text used and the women with the tide in the focus
  • The colours used in this poster is bright and colourful
  • The facial expression used on the women suggests that she is really happy after getting her tide
